Outreach Ltd. is an accredited IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) training centre. As legislation increases concerning the safe use of MEWPS (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms), so does the demand from many organisations to have their personnel properly trained.
IPAF courses are accepted internationally and recognised by the Health and Safety Executive. Based on IPAF’s Operator’s Safety Guide, they cover the safe, efficient use of many different types of powered access machines.
IPAF has moved to align its training programmes with BS EN 280 and ISO DIS 16368, standards that regulate the design and manufacture of access platforms worldwide.
Existing PAL Cards (Powered Access Licences) remain valid as specified. Existing PAL Card holders do not need to get their cards changed. On successful completion of an IPAF course, the delegate receives a certificate of competence, a PAL (Powered Access Licence) ID card valid for 5-years, IPAF’s Operator’s Safety Guide and an IPAF Log Book, to record their experience with MEWPS.
