| REGULATORY INSPECTIONS |
It is our aim to make you, our customer, feel valued and in safe hands. None of our cranes, hook-loaders, access or oil and gas equipment leaves Outreach without our Customer Champion Team checking every aspect of quality and operating safety performance before delivery.
However, under The Health and Safety Executive (LOLER) Regulations your lifting equipment MUST be thoroughly examined at intervals of no greater than 12 months (6 months if used for lifting personnel) by a competent person. Current crane standards also recommend that every 4 years (or when being serviced or repaired) this thorough examination is accompanied by an “overload test” in order to assess the structural integrity of the equipment.
All customers who buy their original equipment from Outreach will automatically be placed on our database and kept informed as these important legal anniversaries approach. Others, whose cranes of any make have had their statutory certification inspections undertaken by Outreach, will also be included in this reminder appointment service.
Regulatory LOLER / Load Test inspections and certification are carried out by a specialist team using dedicated test facilities at our centrally located Falkirk base. Our aim is to keep you and your equipment safe and legal.
