 REPAIRS AND BREAKDOWNS
It is our aim to make you, our customer, feel valued and in safe hands. None of our cranes, hook and skip-loaders, access or oil and gas equipment leaves Outreach without our Customer Champion Team checking every aspect of quality and operating performance before delivery to you.

However, breakdowns and necessary repairs occur in any tough working environment and when this happens, we see it as our challenge and responsibility to get your equipment back to work without delay.

Depending on the circumstances of the breakdown or repair, we take three approaches to providing an effective solution:

  • We can provide an emergency troubleshooting help-line direct to our Aftercare Service Manager or an Engineer who will work with you on the telephone in an attempt to diagnose and solve the immediate problem and get your up and running again.
  • We can activate fully trained and equipped mobile service engineers (based in central Scotland and Carlisle) who will attend to your equipment at your site (either at your base or in the field or off-shore) to diagnose the problem, supply spare parts and make any necessary repairs.
  • Arrange for your equipment to be brought to our fully equipped, state of the art workshop facility where our repair team, extensive amenities and tools can be applied to more complicated or demanding problems.
Our centrally located Falkirk workshop facility maintains a large stock of spare parts and components covering our full range of products in order to ensure your breakdown or repair is actioned as quickly as possible. For unusual items, we have special 24 hour emergency delivery arrangements with all our major franchises.
