Regulatory Inspections

Under Health and Safety Executive (LOLER) Regulations, lifting equipment MUST be fully inspected at intervals of no greater than 12 months (6 months for lifting personnel on elevated work platforms). Current crane standards also recommend that every 4 years, inspection is accompanied by an “overload test” to assess structural integrity.

All customers who buy original equipment from Outreach Ltd will be kept informed automatically as these important legal anniversaries approach. Others, whose cranes (of any make) have had their statutory certification inspections undertaken by Outreach Ltd, are also included in this reminder appointment service.

Regulatory LOLER / Load Test inspections and certification are carried out by a specialist team using dedicated test facilities at the company’s centrally located Falkirk base. Outreach Ltd aims always to keep customers and their equipment safe and legal.
